I chose this ad because this touch bases on an occurring issue, discrimination of specifically women of color. This photographic ad which also contains a short commercial film illustrates the segregated walls, or isles of division amongst women of color and other races. Black women's hair products and other essentials are separated onto the "ethnic" isles rather than on the "beauty" isles.

With the insecurities of black womens hair texture, they have failed to find products needed to suit their hair needs on the beauty isle. Not only is this psychologically a racist/discrimination thing but this also strengthens black women's insecurities. In today's society black womens beauty is underestimated enough and the division of something as small as beauty products can lower their self esteem.

My Trip to Calirfornia

On June 8, 2016 right at the dawn of a fabulous Summer, my grandma mother and I took a trip to South Central La, California. While my grandma was on a business trip I was there for entertainment, and it was an experience like no other. My first morning after my making it into town I visited Hollywood Blvd., Rodeo Drive, and Beverly Hills. I actually caught the famous Amber Rose, in film of her new reality show featuring on VH1 while on Hollywood Blvd. I go on to proceed Rodeo Dr. is definitely what its made out to be so many luxurious famous stores, leading up to Beverly Hills and their beautiful house with the 90210 zip code. You guys are probably wondering what kind of food did I enjoy and I must say In N Out gives you the BEST juicy cheap burgers.

 To continue my vacation my grandma and I flew from LAX,  to San Francisco, CA to spend my last weekend in California. With perfecting timing I would be there to celebrate 3 of my cousins graduation party and meet cousins I have never met. I hadn't been to East Palato since I was one years old so I was eager to meet some of my cousins from back home. We had a family picnic and consumed good laughs and well cooked. I cant wait to go back and live with my family.
